Chateau SalMichele is a quaint Cape Dutch farm guest house built in the sixties. This small farm is located at the foothill of the Magaliesburg Mountains. The house is still in its pristine condition with classical farm-style flooring and décor. The farm house offers self-catering accommodation for six people.The interior of the house offers wooden flooring, spacious room and an open-plan living room with lovely view of the gardens, and an adjoining dining area with a brick fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with all cutlery and cooking appliances provided.

The garden includes a braai area and boma fireplace. The property is kept natural with a scene of local flower and fauna boosting with a boutique dam where the “Malachite Kingfisher” is a regular visitor. Over 30 local indigenous birds frequently visit the farm, along with that there is a rare sighting of the Blue crane and paradise flycatchers.

This working farm has a collection of animals on the property including goats, cows, sheep and chickens. A variety of wild animals including the blue monkeys, weasels, squirrels, meerkats and of course the Impalas and Gemsbok are all around the farm house. Feel free to explore the farms fruit trees orchard and herb garden.
