Camp Ndegeya has a proper kitchen with a chef and helpers who are always at full service to our guests and on request the kitchen is available to those who might prefer to cook for themselves, especially those that book as a group.
The campsite has both male and female bathrooms that are separated from each other. All the bathrooms have running water connected to a heater that warms it every morning and evening.
The campsite has a couple of mountain bikes available for guests to rent and we wish to inform you that doing a village tour of Weaver Bird, Ndegeya on a bike is such a remarkable experience. If you wish to visit during the weekend when Weaver Bird Arts Foundation hosts its quarterly Art Camps, you may get the opportunity to ride alongside local cyclists who occasionally come through for a cycling completion called Tour Weaver Bird.
If you are not self-driven or in your private vehicle, the most available means of transport in the area is by motor taxis, also known as Boda Boda to and from Masaka town plus surrounding areas. They are affordable and it only costs Ush3000 or $1.05 to or from Masaka Town
For guest who may want to go swimming, Masaka Town has a couple of Hotel swimming pools where a small fee up to Ush5000 is charged per person. You may also want to go out of town to Lake Nabugabo which is about an hour or less away and it has three popular beaches.
