About Camelroc Guest Farm

Facing the spectacular sandstone hill, with the outcrop shaped as a camel's head (giving it it's name), is this tranquil farm with glorious views of the Maluti Mountains. Camelroc is situated between the two Caledon rivers and is close to Caledonspoort border post. Camelroc can definately be recommended as a good base from which to explore the Eastern Free State as well as Lesotho. For those who prefer to stay at base and relax, one can opt to take walks into the mountain, have a swim in the pool and braai beside the cottage whilst enjoying the serenity and splendour of this Eastern Free State

All worked as advertised, chalets fully equipped, owners onsite, friendly and responsive. We have known about Camelroc for many years but this was our first stay - our kind of place, and we'll be back, DV.

The house and view was exceptional. With electric blanket, under floor heating and fireplace this is the ideal place for the cold.Although it is very close to the border it is very quiet.I will highly recommend.

What is the name of this animal/bird? It is not an ostrich but what is it? I enjoyed it. My son enjoyed the walking trail. We all enjoyed the place.

The place was quiet and the view of the mountain was just amazing. We did a hiking trail and it was beautiful. The place was clean and perfect for a good rest. It felt like a home away from home.

We loved staying there. The hiking trials are very well maintained and covers all the different habitats on the farm. The chalet was neat and clean with all the essentials.
