Here, the river stretches wide, adorned with sandy bars and lush beds of phragmites reeds, which serve as a magnet for various bird species. Towering grasses provide sustenance for immense herds of elephants and buffalo, while the deeper pools are inhabited by pods of hippos and numerous crocodiles. Along the banks, majestic riparian trees cast dappled shade over the emerging camp, offering shelter for both predators and prey. This terrain is home to terrestrial and airborne hunters, ranging from the stealthy leopard to the elusive Pel's fishing owl.
