We’re located on a peaceful farm with beautiful open spaces. As with many rural areas, neighbouring farms occasionally host gatherings or play music. This doesn’t happen every night, and while we can’t promise it won’t occur during your stay, it usually settles down.

Tucked away in the Van der Stel Pass, Bumbrah Camp and Glamp is a nature-rich escape designed to help you reconnect—with yourself, your loved ones, and the land. Here, stress melts away whether you’re soaking in a wood-fired hot tub, curling up in your tent, or simply letting the peace of the fynbos surround you. Each day brings its own delight: snow-capped mountains in winter, golden canola fields in spring, or the endless stars of a clear summer night.

The camp offers three unique off-grid sites, each with its own character. Houtkapper is a secluded sanctuary for privacy seekers and stargazers, with a private ablution, built-in braai, and a wood-fired hot tub nestled between fynbos and pines. Sewejaartjie, inspired by botanical beauty, is ideal for small groups, with cozy facilities and sweeping views of the seasons in motion. Sneeumantel, named for the snow-dusted peaks visible in winter, is a rustic yet comfortable retreat for families or friends, where mountain charm meets exclusivity.

We do recommend vehicles with higher clearance due to the nature of the farm roads (does not need to be a bakkie).
