Important Information

BOOKING CONDITIONS

All rates are in South African rands.
Full rates will apply no matter whether a guest misses any activities included in the rates.
No refunds will be due if any activities are not available or possible due to prevailing weather conditions or factors out of our control.
Payments shall be at rates specified in the rates schedules unless otherwise agreed in writing.
All individual (FIT- Fully Independent Traveller) reservations require a 50% deposit to be paid with confirmation of the booking.
SanWild reserves the right to cancel the booking should payment not be received.
Final payment of full accommodation and other charges is due and payable 30 days prior to arrival (unless otherwise agreed in writing by SanWild).

For last-minute reservations, full payment is required upon confirmation.
All requests, confirmations, and cancellations are only valid if in writing to [email protected]
Provisional bookings will only be held for the period stated on the provisional confirmation, thereafter the booking may be released.
Rates are not guaranteed until the booking is confirmed.
All guests must settle their accounts for extras on departure.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellation fees are charged on any amendments, reduction in safari tents, or reduction in guests which affect the original value of the confirmed booking. Unless otherwise specifically agreed in writing:

INDIVIDUAL (FIT) CANCELLATIONS

25% of charges payable if booking canceled less than 30 days prior to arrival.
50% of charges payable if booking canceled less than 14 days prior to arrival.
100% of charges payable if booking canceled less than 7 days prior to arrival.

GROUP CANCELLATIONS (8 people or more)

Groups must be confirmed or canceled at least 90 days prior to arrival, unless otherwise specifically agreed.
If canceled less than 90 days prior to an arrival cancellation charge of 50% is payable.
If canceled less than 30 days prior to an arrival cancellation charge of 100% is payable.

GENERAL

Check-in time is 14h00 and check-out time is 10h00. Please advise us of late arrivals or departures and we will try to accommodate requirements.

We strongly recommend to every guest to be adequately covered by comprehensive travel and medical insurance covering at least injury, medical costs, emergency evacuation, repatriation, loss or damage to personal belongings (due to theft or otherwise), and cancellation.

All guests traveling with children under the age of 18 must comply with the relevant South African requirements.
No pets allowed.
All accommodation is non-smoking. Smoking is only allowed in desiccated areas.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and no information gathered in online forms on the website or otherwise will be sold to a third party.
The SanWild Wildlife Trust and/or the Murry Foundation Conservation Holdings Pty shall not be held responsible for any damage to or loss of any property belonging to the client or any guest or other person, nor shall The SanWild Wildlife Trust and/or the Murry Foundation Conservation Holdings Pty be responsible for any personal injury which may be sustained by any guests or other person or by any directors, servants or agents of the client, whether such damage or personal injury be caused by, or arise from the negligence of The SanWild Wildlife Trust and/or the Murry Foundation Conservation Holdings Pty or its employees or otherwise. The client hereby indemnifies The SanWild Wildlife Trust and/or the Murry Foundation Conservation Holdings Pty and all its directors, servants, or agents of the client in respect of such personal injury, loss, or damage.
All guests are required to sign an indemnity form on arrival.
All terms and conditions, whether general or special, shall be interpreted and take effect according to the laws of South Africa. The courts of South Africa shall have sole jurisdiction in respect of any claims which may arise between the client and The SanWild Wildlife Trust and/or the Murray Foundation.
We reserve the right to change, modify, add to or remove portions or the whole of these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
No music/ noise disturbance is allowed in camp.

CHILDREN ON GAME ACTIVITIES

Children 5 years and under can enjoy game drives, but it is in the ranger’s and ultimately the General Manager’s discretion as to whether they can be taken into sightings of the Big 5 animals, for safety reasons.
All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult during game drives and bush walks. If necessary, children will be permitted on game drives and walk at the discretion of the ranger.

TRANSFERS

Transfers can be arranged on request at an additional cost. The company used is Sable Tours
All transfers are handled by accredited third-party contractors and must be arranged prior to arrival.

RIGHT OF ADMISSION

Please note The SanWild Wildlife Trust reserves the right to ask that you leave the Wildlife Reserve and remove your belongings from the premises without any payment or refund to you if we are of the opinion, that you acted in such a manner, which could result or has resulted in damage to the premises or compromised the safety of the SanWild Safari camp / SanWild Wildlife Reserves premises, guests, Fauna / Flora, and any other person and/or the SanWild name.
