Terms and Conditions
Dear Guest,
We aim to make your stay with us as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. To ensure a pleasant experience for all guests, we kindly ask that you adhere to the following terms and conditions. We also encourage mutual respect for all other guests staying at Buccaneers Beach Lodge.
Alcohol Policy:
No private alcohol is permitted in any of our trading areas on the property.
Buccaneers operates a cash bar, available exclusively to in-house guests, from 17h00 until midnight.
During the day, alcohol is available for sale at the reception area or, during the summer months, at the pool bar area from 12h00 PM to 16h00.
Drugs:
The use or possession of any drugs is strictly prohibited on the property.
Consumption or suspicion of use will result in the immediate involvement of the relevant authorities.
Noise:
Loud music is not permitted in private rooms or cottages.
Playing music from vehicles is not allowed on the property at any time.
External Guests:
External visitors are not permitted on the property without prior consent from management.
Upon approval, a day fee of R50 per person will be charged.
Pets:
No pets are allowed on the property unless prior approval is obtained from management.
If approval is granted, an additional charge will apply for the stay of the pet.
Respect and Conduct:
Buccaneers Beach Lodge has a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of racism.
Smoking is not permitted inside any buildings at Buccaneers Beach Lodge. Please dispose of cigarette butts in the designated bins located around the property.

Indemnity Agreement - Buccaneers Backpackers cc and Buccaneers Trust

By paying a deposit, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and accepted the terms and conditions of my stay at Buccaneers Beach Lodge and any excursions undertaken during my visit, whether independently or through African Heartland Journeys, its associated tour operators, or suppliers, including road transportation and the use of equipment owned by Buccaneers Backpackers, African Heartland Journeys, its associated tour operators, or suppliers.

I am aware that certain activities, including but not limited to climbing, canoeing, kloofing, surfing, mountain biking, horse riding, and game drives, may involve inherent risks. I hereby indemnify Buccaneers Backpackers cc, Buccaneers Trust, African Heartland Journeys, its associated tour operators and suppliers, as well as its owners, staff, and helpers, from any liability for any delay, inconvenience, accident, illness, permanent disability, death, or loss/damage to property that may arise from such activities.

I agree to comply with the lawful instructions of the tour guides, staff, and owners. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in any excursions or activities during my stay at Buccaneers Beach Lodge.

The guest acknowledges that it is a condition of occupying Buccaneers Beach Lodge that Buccaneers Beach Lodge shall not be held responsible for any injury, death, loss, or damage to property arising from fire, theft, or any other cause, including negligence or wrongful acts of any person employed by Buccaneers Beach Lodge. Guests may entrust valuables to the reception for safekeeping; however, Buccaneers Beach Lodge is not liable for any loss or damage to these items.

Acknowledgement and Agreement:

I confirm that I have carefully read and fully understand the contents of this agreement. I am aware that this is a release of liability and a contract between myself and Buccaneers Backpackers cc, Buccaneers Trust, African Heartland Journeys, its associated tour operators and suppliers, as well as its owners, staff, and helpers.

I confirm I am 18 years of age or older.
I am solely responsible for my bill/account at Buccaneers Beach Lodge.
By paying the deposit, I agree to the indemnity and to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined above.
