Bloemhof Karoo is a historic home, once owned by Professor Christiaan Barnard. This bed and breakfast rests graciously amongst kopjes on a working farm in the malaria-free Northern Cape, Great Karoo.With three guest rooms and three bathrooms, the house can comfortably sleep up to eight guests. The Oxwagon Room is a romantic spacious room for a couple, but can also comfortably accommodate 2 children. There are two dining rooms and a sunroom, where guests have the opportunity for privacy or communal enjoyment. Guests can relax in the lounge, where there is a well-stocked bar.

The Blue Room is situated in quaint farm outbuilding behind the farmstead, and is ideal for a family, or guests travelling with pets.

The bed and breakfast provides a range of activities, including a 40 minute guided Karoo walk, game drives on an adjoining private game reserve, picnics and sundowners. Great Hiking and cycling opportunities...fully supported.
