About Blackheath Lodge

Blackheath Lodge is conveniently situated on Cape Town's world famous Atlantic Seaboard right under Signal Hill just off High Level Road, Sea Point. Built in the 1880's, this beautiful Victorian guest house offers exceptional service, ideal for both the holiday and business traveller.

The traditional interiors are spacious and enhanced by touches of eclectic African style. After a busy day of sightseeing or business meetings, you can relax, unwind and enjoy a sun downer, and if you wish, go out to one of our excellent local restaurants, safe in the knowledge that a quiet, comfortable night's sleep awaits you.

Awake in the morning to a delicious homemade breakfast on the sun terrace overlooking the pool set in a tropical garden. On cooler, winter days you can enjoy your breakfast indoors in front of a roaring fire. All year round the owners welcome business and holiday visitors in true Cape Style to Blackheath Lodge. We loved every minute at Blackheath Lodge. Anthony was fantastic and helped us with all the little things you need in a new city. Great service, wonderful breakfast, excellent rooms. We would love to come back.

We had a very pleasant stay. Antony was a gracious host and very helpful with excellent advice on restaurants and things to do. The room was very comfortable. The butternut quiche for breakfast, served on the sunny veranda, was wonderful.

We really enjoyed our four days at Blackheath Lodge. The location is excellent. The house and rooms are stylish and tastefully decorated. We liked the terrace overloooking the pool where we had breakfast, with some unique and very tasty bites (great for vegetarians as well) created by Jules. Anthony and team were always welcoming and helpful with advice and recommendations.
