About Bitterwasser Lodge and Flying Centre
Bitterwasser has garnered world-acclaim as a ‘Mecca for glider pilots’; no other spot on the planet is associated with so many world records and nowhere else do glider pilots fly more kilometres each year than from here. The magic of the Kalahari’s largest palm-tree alley is testimony to gliding accomplishments of former guests, dating back as far as the 1960s. Bitterwasser offers a game drive with sun-downer whereby the guests can experience a drive around the lodge and if they are lucky, see some of our wild life consisting of mainly Kudus, Gemsbok, Springbok, Zebra and Giraffe.

Provisional bookings will remain confirmed for three working days, where after we will release the booking without further notice. All reservations, cancellations and amendments must be given in writing and confirmed by Bitterwasser Lodge Pty Ltd.
During 1 November till 15 January each year we are booked out for guider pilots only.
