Binna Burra Mountain Lodge
Lamington National Park
About Binna Burra Mountain Lodge
Under 1 hour's drive from the Gold Coast and just 90 minutes from Brisbane, lies the rainforest of Lamington National Park. Binna Burra Mountain Lodge has been welcoming guests since the early 1930s and while the cabins have been updated with modern amenities, there are no phones, clocks, radios or television to intrude on the serenity. In total, over 160 kilometres of walking tracks now wind their way through the National Park, making it one of the most accessible wilderness regions along the east coast of Australia. Every day, guides set out into the wilderness to share their knowledge and experience with lodge guests or you can explore by yourself, stopping to rest by a waterfall with a picnic lunch at a cliff top lookout. Thrill seekers can meet the challenge of abseiling 90 metres down a cliff-face, or sailing high above the forest floor on a 160 metre flying fox. Acacia Room Description: Acacia Rooms offer views of either the Numinbah Valley or the surrounding rainforest. They include an en suite and balcony. Choose from double, twin or larger family rooms. Casuarina Room Description: Casuarina Rooms are heritage-listed guesthouse-style rooms, nestled amidst the native gardens. Separate bathroom facilities are close to the rooms and shared by just a small number of guests description.
