There are eight sleeping stretchers, with bedding, available for the kids. The sunny and spacious living room comprises a fully furnished lounge with built in fire place (as well as a closed combustion fire place) and kitchen with Dover Stove, fridge and crockery and cutlery. 20 pieces of wood are included in the price (additional wood can be purchased on site), and there is also a gas stove. There is a geyser with hot water, and the lights are solar powered.Outside in the tranquil garden there is a carport for one car and misters for those hot summer days. This is a haven for birders, as even the odd kingfisher is spotted on the property. Hoopoe’s, the Cape robin, a variety of sugar birds, fiscal shrike, forktailed drongo’s are found here. Goats, horses and cattle on the adjacent plots add character and complement the country feel. One of the reasons the main gate must be kept closed at all times.Nestled at the foothills of the lush and beautiful Langeberg Mountains, lies the picturesque little town of Suurbraak.
