Be My Guest Too forms part of a group of unique family guest houses, placed in luscious green suburbia in Upington. We are a mere five-minute walk from the Kalahari Mall, a two-minute drive from the city centre.Accommodation is offered in comfortably furnished guest rooms and an apartment. Terms and Conditions/Cancellation Policy:

1. Reservation, Payment and Terms
1.1. Reservations are accepted on a “per person” basis and not “per room” basis. Rates are therefore subject to the number of people that occupy a room. The names and relationship to the Guest of the additional persons sharing the room must be provided when the reservation is made.
1.2. Bookings can only be confirmed/secure if the guesthouse receives the requested deposit/full payment on accommodation, along with the Guest name, surname, and number of persons sharing each room, cell phone number of the Guest, confirmed payment method and expected time of arrival of each Guest.
1.2. (A) A 50% Deposit is required to secure bookings. All outstanding amounts to be paid strictly before or on arrival. No exceptions will be made.
1.2. (B) should any amount of monies owed to BeMyGuest be defaulted on, BeMyGuest reserves the right to forward the amount to I.T.C for blacklisting.
2. Cancellation policy:
2.1. A 50% Deposit is required within 48hr to secure the booking when made.
1.2.1. Guest who agrees to pay on arrival, must signed and confirm to the terms and conditions herein.
Be My Guest are under no obligation to keep any bookings resulting in a lack of payment or miss-communication made via email or other communication devices.
2.3. A deposit of 50% will be forfeited if cancellation is made 30 days before arrival.
2.4. The full deposit will be forfeited if the confirmed reservation is cancelled within 14 days prior to arrival.
2.5. Discounted rates will be revised should the duration of stay be decreased or interrupted or payment terms not be adhered to.
2.6. The Guest retains personal liability for the bill until the employer, travel agent, or person that made the reservation on his or her behalf has settled the account. In the event that the company/travel agent did not pay the account before the guest is to arrive; the guest will have to pay on arrival and be reimbursed by the company.
2.7. Cash, credit/debit cards and internet transfers are valid payment methods. Cheques are not accepted.
2.8. The maximum refund value under any circumstances is 80% of the charge. Refunds will only be made after payment has been finally cleared by the bank. This process can take in excess of 30 days.
2.9. In the event that traveling plans have changed/cancelled due to sickness, death or accidents, a valid doctor’s certificate must be presented in order to applicate for a refund. In the case of the COVID-19 case a medical certificate must be provided.
3. Arrival and Departure:
3.1. Check in time is between 14:00 and 19:00. Should you require a late departure or early arrival, please notify us in order to make the necessary arrangements.
No check-in will be made before 14:00 or after 19:00, unless priory arranged with management. This is necessary to ensure the security, comfort and well-being of other guests. An additional charge will be levied for late check outs or early arrivals.
Guest is to provide an ID or driver’s license on arrival.
3.2. All guests are kindly reminded that check-out times are 10H00. Should it become necessary to move a guest’s luggage, as a result of a late check-out, the owners, management and staff accept no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage to the guest’s belongings. Management reserves the right to enforce the above.
3.2.1 No check-out after 10:00. This is to enable the room to be prepared in time for new arrivals. Guests that check out after 10:00 without prior arrangement will be liable for an extra night’s accommodation, as the staff will not be able to service the room in time for new arrivals.
3.2.2 Early departures – Kindly lock the room and leave the keys in the Black OR Green Post Box next to the Main Gates. Gates 1 and 3.
4. Service Hours:
4.1. The reception desk is open from 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Fridays and 08:00 to 10:00 AM on weekends and public holidays. The after-hours contact number is 082 487 0888.
4.2. Reservations could be made: phone 082 4870 888, between 8:00AM - 17:00 PM.
4.3. Subject to availability of rooms, persons interested in booking accommodation and wish to view the guest house before hand, can do so by appointment.
5. Breakfasts:
Kindly note breakfast times are between 7:00 to 8:30 AM – Mondays to Friday – No Breakfasts on Weekends and Public Holidays. The Kitchen closes at 8:30AM and no breakfast will be served after. We do have a voucher option for guests who want to sleep in and have breakfast later. All guests are kindly asked to confirm their breakfast times when booking or arriving.
Special conditions Due to the Covid-19 Regulations - No breakfast is served at this moment; however, we do have a breakfast packs or vouchers option. Breakfasts need to be booked in advance in order to prepare sufficiently.
6. Security, Restrictions, Safety & Storage:
6.1. Although the guesthouse takes reasonable steps to ensure the safety and security of Guests and their possessions. Guests retain final responsibility for their own as well as their children’s safety and security. Keep rooms locked at all times. Upon check out please leave the room locked.
6.2. The guesthouse does not provide storage facilities for personal belongings or vehicles.
6.3. A STRICTLY NO OVERNIGHT STAYS or VISITORS POLICY. To secure the safety of all guests accommodated by BEMYGUEST, not visitors or guests who have not been specifically booked, without prior arrangement are allowed on the premises. All overnight guests, whom have not been booked for, will be fine and charged an extra fee of R1200.00. Payment must be made promptly at reception.
6.4. Strictly no alcohol; parties or loud music are allowed. As we are situated in a residential area, we cannot allow alcohol or any parties to be held or loud music on the premises. Guests are kindly asked to consider other guests also booked at the guesthouse during their stay. Please consider quiet time at 22H00.
7. LOSS or DAMAGE to Guest House Property:
Excluding wear and tear, guest will be personally liable for loss or damages caused to the property of BeMyGuest Guesthouse. (Please do not remove any items from the rooms. Kindly report any damages)
8. General Incapacity
The guesthouse cannot be held liable if any of the following events or conditions prevents the guesthouse from fulfilling its obligation to Guests. The guesthouse will take all reasonable steps to minimize disruption and discomfort to Guests under these conditions.
8.1. Unanticipated interruption to the electricity, water, sewage from or on the guesthouse property.
8.2. Industrial action, civil uprising, riots or criminal activity.
8.3. Fire, frost, flooding or heat waves, subsidence or any other force of nature/calamity events.
8.4 Due to Covid-19 regulation of e.g. Social distancing/sanitizing all guests are kindly requested to adhere to the regulations as a precaution for their own health and wellbeing/safety. The guesthouse will take all precautions in ensuring that the rooms are sanitized and cleaned, but will not be held responsible for any imbursements, damage, OR loss accruing due to negligence by guests.
