Important Information

ADMIN FEE

The admin fee of R650 per stay is COMPULSORY, and must be paid with your final payment.
* This fee includes the cost of preparing the apartment before and after your stay.

REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT

A refundable breakage deposit of R1250 is COMPULSORY, and must also be paid with your final payment.
* This deposit protects against minor damages such as broken cutlery/crockery, missing towels, broken toilet seats, etc.
* However, it is NOT enough to cover damages to the epoxy countertops, linen, Astro turf, etc. You will be liable if the cost of damages is MORE than that of the breakage deposit.
* The breakage deposit will be refunded 2 days after checkout, less the cost of damages.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

* To verify your identity, you must submit a copy of your ID/Passport and Proof of Residence (not greater than 3 months) before check-in.


PAYMENT TERMS

* No booking is secured until the FULL PAYMENT has been received, i.e. the booking fee + admin fee + breakage deposit + other optional extras.
* If the booking is made BEFORE 30 days of check-in a 50% deposit is required, WITHIN 72 hours of making the booking.
* If the booking is made WITHIN 30 days of check-in then a 100% of the full deposit is required, WITHIN 72 hours of making the booking.
* The balance of the full payment MUST reflect in our bank account at least 3 days prior to arrival.
* Should payments not be received by the specified time, we reserve the right to cancel your booking forthwith and all monies paid will be forfeited.
* Once full payment has been received, we shall then forward you a Final Confirmation.

CANCELLATION POLICY

The booking can be cancelled up until 3 days prior to arrival, in which case 100% of the amount paid will be refunded.


PROPERTY RULES (A COMPREHENSIVE LIST IS AVAILABLE AT THE PROPERTY, OR UPON REQUEST)

* Beach Splendor @ 24 La Crete Sands is a private, upmarket apartment.
* The La Crete Sands Body Corporate Rules must be adhered to, in addition to the following house rules.

1) Maximum of 6 people allowed in total (including babies and children), and ONLY a maximum of 4 adults.
2) NO pets allowed
3) NO damaging the epoxy countertops!!! Please use the chopping boards, and the pot stands provided.
4) NO unreasonable noise can be heard throughout the day. Therefore,
-> NO screaming
-> NO loud music
-> NO getting drunk and creating a scene etc.
5) Respect that there are permanent residents living at the complex
6) Smoking can only be done by the braai area. Therefore, strictly
-> NO smoking in the bedrooms (expensive linen)
-> NO smoking in the kitchen (epoxy countertops)
-> NO smoking above the artificial grass (the plastic will get burnt)
-> NO smoking in the toilets
7) NO smoking of Cannabis (weed), or anything else illegal!!
8) NO beach sand is allowed into the property
-> Wash off the sea sand by the tap at the pool gate.
-> Remove all sea sand from your clothes and towels, before putting them into the washing machine.
9) NO Day Visitors allowed without my consent.
10) NO staining of the linen with hair dye, blood, mascara, foundation, chocolate, wine, etc.
11) A cleaning fee of R250 will be charged, if the house is left in an untidy state upon check-out.
12) The owner reserves the right of admission.
13) The person making the booking will be held accountable for the cost of damages, which are above the cost of the breakage deposit.
