Nestled amidst 400 hectares of indigenous fauna and flora, just 20 minutes from the bustling city of Pietermaritzburg, Barnside is a true hidden gem. Guests will revel in the feeling of being alone in the heart of the African bush, far away from the noise of the modern world. Passing through the gates, the old railway bridge stands tall, seemingly welcoming you into a different time and space. The spacious house comprises four bedrooms furnished with comfortable king-size beds while a fifth offers a king-size bed and two single beds. The modern bathrooms are fitted with baths and showers.
The lovely kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, fridge, microwave and tea and coffee facilities and meals can be enjoyed at the dining table. Guests can relax in one of the lovely lounge areas which offers TVs, fireplaces and comfortable seating. One of the living areas has large windows, big comfortable couches, a pool table and offers magnificent views of the surroundings.
