The cottage consists of a lounge, open plan to a well equipped kitchen with lots of utensils and appliances, a separate bedroom and a bathroom with shower and washing machine. There is a table and chairs in the garden, plus a portable BBQ. While it’s perfect for two, we’ll do our best to accommodate a small child or baby.<

Cleaning is supervised by the owner, ensuring that Barnacle Tree is in immaculate condition at all times. The cottage is aimed at weekenders, longer-term stays and professional or business people wanting to make their base in the Somerset West area, as a place to explore the nearby attractions.

These include Lourensford, Idiom and Vergelegen Wine Estates. The Strand Beachfront is seven kilometres away. Clarence Drive takes you around our beautiful coastline, with pretty seaside towns along the way. Long term guests are welcome to employ the services of one of our reliable, local cleaning companies if required.
