The kitchenette is well-equipped for basic self-catering purposes with a built in two plate hob, electric frying pan, a bar fridge, toaster, nespresso coffee machine and a kettle. There is an outside terrace with braai facilities, two-seater benches, a table, and an umbrella. Guests have access to safe parking inside the property as well as a space to park a trailer on site. The unit will be cleaned once a week at no charge for long staying guests. Short staying guests can request cleaning for a fee of R175.

Some of the cool things to do in Somerset West include The Helderberg Nature Reserve, Lourensford weekend markets, the cheetah sanctuary at Cheetah Outreach and visiting the dozens of wine farms . Strand beach is a 7 min drive away and there are many great restaurnants near by. Gordonsbay and Stellenbosch are also only a 20 minute drive.
