About Barking Beach Cottage

The house easily sleeps 6 people providing 3 bedrooms. One double bed and 4 single beds. Linen is provided for all beds. Kitchen is fitted with all basic essentials. The yard is fully enclosed except for the drive way dogs can be in the rest of the yard. All dogs are welcome to bring with their well behaved humans. No dogs however to be on the furniture.

The house is fitted with 1 towel per guest, we ask that you bring your own beach towels. We used to provide this but our towels seemed to have left with the less well behaved humans.

We take extra care in leaving the house in a clean and good condition for guest and we ask that guest respect the use of our property. No loud music or smoking allowed. The house is fitted with a inside braai, rustic outside braai and a fire place. No air conditioning. We do provide DSTV.

Important Information

Check in is strictly only from 14:00 and departure at 10:00 am . We require Barking beach terms and conditions to be completed via email as well as a damages deposit. Barking beach cottage terms and conditions apply at all times even with covid travel regulations and not restricted too.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is payable to secure your booking with the outstanding balance required before 5 days before arrival in low season and 30 days prior to arrival in peak season where after this will also be non-refundable. All payments to be made via EFT, no cash payments. Your second payment is directly to Barking beach account with the extra damages deposit which we will send you directly via email once we receive your completed booking form. More information will be in our terms and conditions. Please make sure to pay the outstanding balance directly to us and not Safari. Please note that the rates on Safari is our base rate, this might change without notice and is different from our peak season rate.

A refundable damages deposit of one days stay with the non-refundable deposit is required with your booking. After your visit an inventory will be taken and your damages deposit will be refunded with in 72 hours after your departure. Please supply us with your bank details. Bookings are only confirmed once Barking beach have received your completed terms and conditions which you will receive when paying the 50% deposit with Safari and then the outstanding balance paid directly to Barking Beach Cottage after which we will send you directions etc.

★★★★★ Welcoming Lindt chocolates was a very nice surprise, There was even cold water and milk in the fridge as well as coffee, tea , sugar, salt and pepper. Very nice lawns. We enjoyed the indoor braai area. Bedding was also super.
