Balie's Gat Camp and Accommodation is located on a farm approximately 35 kilometers from the town of Op-die-Berg in the picturesque Koue Bokkeveld, and can only be reached by a high-clearance vehicle. A river with rock pools is located approximately 400 meters from the wooden cabins. Laundry service is available at an extra cost.
Balie’sGat Camp en Accommodation offers guests four campsites, two self-catering log cabins, as well as two luxury self-catering tents, that are ideal for a relaxing getaway.

The campsites can accommodate 10 - 18 guests in their own tents or caravans. Each site has its own braai area, firepit, water tap and dishwashing stand with a bucket and drying rack. Private ablution with Solar Panel lights and hot water for the shower.

Each cabin has an outdoor kitchenette that is equipped with a gas stove, a small gas fridge, as well as cutlery and crockery for four guests, and meals can be enjoyed at the dining table. These en-suite cosy cabins offer one bedroom each with a double bed. The cabins each have a small lawn which is ideal for a small tent; on request only. Towels are supplied and there is a braai drum outside. Please note that this accommodation is off-the-grid.

The luxury en-suite secluded tent offers a comfy glamping experience with a queen and two single beds, vintage crockery and Cape furniture. Each tent has its own braai area, fire pit, water, and dishwashing stand with a plastic bowl and drying rack. Private ablution facilities with a flush toilet, hot water shower, and solar panel lights are available. Both kitchens are equipped with a stove, oven and fridge.
