About Azura Benguerra Island
Azura, on beautiful Benguerra Island, is Mozambique’s luxurious eco-boutique retreat. Built and operated in partnership with the local community, it features 16 spacious designer villas, each with a private infinity pool and located on a pristine white sand beach. For families and friends, try our two-bedroom villa with a huge pool and its own wine bar, or the three-bedroom Presidential Villa with its own social area, tree house lounge, 18 m infinity pool, private chef, and butler. This is the ultimate in seclusion and luxury.
All meals and house drinks are included, so enjoy our delicious local cuisine and wines from the owner's chateau, with candle-lit dining on the beach beneath the stars. We also offer a vast range of guided activities and experiences for you to enjoy with our environmentalist or community leader, as well as world-class snorkelling, fishing and diving. Learn to dive at our Padi 5 Star water sports centre. Located in a marine national park, Azura has access to some amazing marine life including dolphins, the endangered dugong and migrating humpback whales.
