ATKV - Hartenbos Resort

Important Information

Please be advised that our indoor heated pool is temporarily closed due to unforeseen circumstances. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding; however, the "Pretpark" remains open, offering alternative swimming facilities for ATKV Hartenbos guests.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

BOOKINGS:
Rates include 15% VAT and are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR).
Rates may be subject to change without prior notice.
Upon arrival you will be:
Required to complete and sign the resort’s indemnity form.
Camping sites will be issued with a vehicle permit
Admin Fee: For cancellations longer than 30 days prior to arrival a R95 administration fee will be charged for the refund of the funds

Paying for extra charges (also payable in advance, see BANKING DETAILS below):
Group bookings apply when six or more accommodation units/camp stands are booked.
No group gatherings are allowed between units/camp stands. Groups are required to book a hall/lapa (subject to availability).
Most of our units are not able to accommodate additional people due to space constraints; should you have a query around this, please contact Reception.
Bookings allow for one vehicle per accommodation unit/camp stand.
Extra charges are valid until 28 Feb 2024 after which new rates will apply.
Admin Fee: For cancellations longer than 30 days prior to arrival a R100 administration fee will be charged. This amount will change to R 110 on 1 March 2024.



IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Check-in time for accommodation units and camp stands is from 14:00.
Check-out time is 10:00
Smoking in accommodation units is strictly prohibited.
No tents will be allowed next to any unit.
Guests using our camping facilities must please bring their own power point adaptor and portable braai.
The standard size per camp stand is 10m x 10m. Your vehicles, boat and caravan must fit onto your specified campsite (and may not overlap onto adjoining campsites). No sleeping in vehicles will be tolerated.
No pets of any kind are allowed, with the exception of guide dogs.
Tariffs include entrance to our Amusement park and discount at our heated pool. You are required to pay additional fees for the use of the amenities, including the waterslides and adventure golf. Refer to our website for the tariffs as well as the times for the heated pool. Please note: No Cooler boxes or Picnic baskets are allowed in the Amusement park; food and drink supplies are for sale at the Park.
Own swimming towels and dishcloths must be provided.
No music is permitted at the resort from motor vehicles or private sound systems/equipment.
Please consider the other guests by keeping noise levels at a minimum. Should we receive any complaints at any time regarding loud music or behavior, you will be requested to behave appropriately. Failure or refusal to adhere to the rules and values of the ATKV may result in you being asked to vacate the resort and you will not be entitled to any refunds.
Silence must be maintained between 23:00 and 07:00.
Guests who leave the resort prior to the date of departure for any reason will not be entitled to a refund or discount.
No motorbikes or ATV four-wheelers are allowed at the resort.
Only accepted swimwear will be allowed.
Please note that during our out of season midweeks, there may be conference and/or school groups at the resort. For more information in this regard, please contact reception.
