The main lodge has a comfortable sitting room and a bar and dining area. The shelterd viewing tower offers 360-degree views and is also called the Meditation Tower for the quiet atmosphere it offers.

Apolka is where the sun rises from the crest between two hills, and sets behind a dramatic range of craggy mountains, bathing the entire valley in a golden light.
