Important Information

1. All pricing except Backpacker are room prices for the number of guests indicated. All reservations have to be paid in full when making the booking.

3. Reservations not paid within 24 hours will automatically be cancelled.

Always state your booking reference number, starting with NB as a reference number. We do not take any responsibility for cancelled accommodation due to a wrong reference.

6. Ankawini Safaris cc shall be excused and shall not be deemed in default for any failure of performance for any reason beyond its control. Such cause shall be deemed to include but not limited to and without limitation, warlike operations, armed aggression, insurrection, riots, fire, flooding, lightning, explosions, shortage of food supplies, accidents, acts of God, acts of public enemy, epidemics, pandemics, quarantine, restrictions, strike action, lockouts, labour shortage, labour unrest, government intervention and power shortages. Furthermore, the client shall not hold Ankawini Safaris cc liable for any loss and/or damage that the client or guest might incur as a result of Ankawini Safaris cc not being able to render the service. In these circumstances, every effort will be made to accommodate the booking at another establishment.
7. Ankawini Safaris cc, its staff, management and owners shall not be held liable or responsible for the loss, theft or damage to any property or items brought onto the premises by the client, or any of the client’s guests, employees or subcontractors that may be appointed by the client, regardless of how such loss or damage may occur.
8. Ankawini Safaris cc, its staff, management, members and owners shall not be held liable or responsible for any injury to the client or any of the client’s guests, employees or subcontractors that may be invited or appointed by the client, regardless of how such injury may occur and with specific reference made to injuries that result in the loss of life. It is put on record that the Venue is not child-safe, and all minor children must be under the constant supervision of their parents or guardians.
9. The entire property is entered at your OWN RISK, and the right of admission is reserved.
10. The client consents that pictures and videos may be taken during the event and published on our platforms and social media or used to demonstrate different options or activities to other potential guests or clients.
11. Cancellation Policy: If a guest departs prematurely, does not arrive, or cancels the accommodation 30 days or less before the function date, the full accommodation fee is forfeited unless another guest can be placed in that accommodation. In the latter case, the original guest will forfeit 10% of the total accommodation fee. Any cancellation longer than one month before but less than 3 months before the function will bear a cancellation fee of 50% of the booking value unless another guest can be placed, in which case only 10% will be forfeited. Any cancellations longer than 90 days before the function date will only bear a 10% cancellation fee.
12. If the function is postponed for whatsoever reason, booked accommodation will automatically be transferred to the new date. If, for reasons beyond our control, the function is cancelled, all accommodation refunds will incur a 25% cancellation fee to cover admin fees and bank charges. This also applies to refunds when the guest does not wish to have the booked accommodation transferred to a new date.
13. Please note that the Venue is not child-friendly, and children must be under permanent adult supervision. You might consider bringing life vests or arm floaters if a child cannot swim.
14. Pets are strictly forbidden.
15. Own drinks are not permitted on the premises. The extremely affordable pool bar will be open as soon as the first guests arrive, and we aim to keep it open as long as there is demand. However, the management and the wedding hosts reserve the right to close the bar at any reasonable time or situation.
16. Our electricity is generated from solar power, and for this reason, there are no kettles and fridges in the rooms. However, there are ceiling- and upright fans in rooms, except in those that have specifically been treated to repel the heat. Please do not plug additional high-energy-using appliances into the wall sockets. Hairdryers may be used.
17. Any fireworks, open candles, plastic confetti or any other action, device or equipment that can harm the environment, property, guests or adjacent farms are strictly prohibited.
