Angel's Rock is tranquil and perfect for a private get away surrounded by the beauty of nature. The accommodation is a Heritage Cottage modernised to cater for all your needs. One double room with an en-suite bathroom, as well a double bed loft, full kitchen, lounge and second bathroom. Enjoy the sunset on the deck with your river view. Perfect for family and/or romantic get aways
Angel's Rock is surrounded by wildlife. Enjoy Kudu and Wildebeest and so much more or some fly fishing adventures
Angel's Rock is ideal for small and intimate weddings. The entertainment area is outdoors and can be open air or a stretch Tent. Weddings with maximum 50 guests can be accommodated.
Angel's Rock allows for quality family time with indoor games, reading, outdoor adventures. Enjoy a fire under the stars, hiking, swimming, jacuzzi or fishing while enjoying the relaxing atmosphere and nature surroundings
Angel's Rock is perfect for Romantic getaways . The cottage is cosy & comfortable & allows for complete privacy. Only nature surrounds you. Rock Pool for cool downs & sun downers. Jacuzzi to relight that fire and share some quality time together
Hand sanitiser is in every room . Cleaners wear masks during cleaning. On greeting guests all staff wear masks & provide hand sanitisers. A social distance is kept on arrival. rooms are cleaned to prevent Covid-19 spread.

Important Information
R500 cash deposit is applicable to assist us to replace/manage damage.
If there is no damage, your money will be refunded within 24 hours of your check-out in full.Animals/insects: Never kill anything (other than mosquitoes/flies).
Please don’t feed the baboons, they will get aggressive (there is enough food in the wild).
Always keep the gates and doors closed where there is no security.
Baboons will come in and destroy the place if you don’t take precaution.
Always check yourself for ticks after a walk.
We suggest hiking with long pants for scratches/ticks etcFires:Always water your braai/camp fire completely before leaving
Never make a fire in any area that is not provided by management
Please do NOT carry your oil/paraffin lamps outside. This can start an unstoppable field fire if dropped
Never leave glass anywhere other than in your back pack.
If you break something, please pick up all the pieces and throw it away in the dustbin at the rock cottage
Never smoke in the open area and/or leave the buds in the field.
Please take a container with you with some water in to ensure that the cigarette buds are killed and thrown way at the rock cottage
Cutlery/Furniture/Other:If you break something you will need to pay the full replacement price as per Makro rates
In the case that you accidentally damage/break something, please point it out to management on departure
Gear/Clothes:When hiking please wear the correct shoes for maximum grip (Please note that hiking is medium to extreme down to the river)
Please note we have snakes. Therefore high up boots are recommended
You are welcome to bring swimming clothes for when your reach the river
Always wear a hat for protection against branches and the sun
This is a nature conservancy with wild animals.
Please take caution
Don’t chase, scare or challenge anything (never kill anything)
Please don’t break off branches or take away dead branches. This interferes with the natural eco system cycle
NEVER throw rubbish/paper/poison/glass anywhere on the land
Please do NOT smoke in the cottage. This is not negotiable.
You are welcome to smoke on the deck
Kindly take caution with the steps and rocks inside the rock cottage and when you go for walks In the case that it rains with lighting, please do not be outside in between the rocks. This is dangerous.

We would like to inform you will be exposed to a variety of risks & dangers at the Premises. It’s important to understand the risks & the implications thereof. If you don’t, it remains your responsibility to ask Angel’s Rock management for more detail.
Such risks and activities include, without limitation, pools, ponds, recreational areas, cats, monkeys, wild animals, insects, rocks, and lightning. It includes any loss of/damage to personal effects/property, any indirect, consequential or special loss/damage, financial loss, illness, injury, harm (as defined in the CPA) or death howsoever caused & legal costs (attorney & own client scale) that the Indemnified Parties may incur, unless such claim falls within the ambit of section 61 of the CPA (Act 68/2008).
Please be advised:The roads inside Bush Willow Conservancy / Angel’s Rock are more suited to SUV and Pickup type vehicles, while normal road going vehicles are able to navigate the roads, certain sections will have to be driven with care at crawl speeds in order not to damage your vehicle’s undercarriage.This letter does not require your signature or reply in order for it to be legal.
