For a refreshing stopover when travelling in Northern Cape en route to and from Windhoek, Johannesburg, Cape Town to the Kgalagardi Trans frontier Park.

In the middle of the dry expanse of the Kalahari basin lays the green oasis of Kuruman. In its centre is the famous Eye of Kuruman, an inexhaustible sweet water fountain, which has never dried out, even in the longest drought periods, and produces daily 20 million litres of water.

★★★★★ The Guesthouse is the ideal place en route to or from Namibia or Upington. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood of Kuruman. Restaurants are near. The Guesthouse does serve a good breakfast. Staff are very friendly.

Beware the water in the bathroom is to standard and after a long journey cold shower water was unacceptable.
