A mere 40-minute drive from the Kosi Bay border, along a sandy 4x4 route you will find Aloha Estate. If your idea of a holiday is a luxury home on a remote beach then this is the spot.

Aloha house number 7 is situated in the beachfront row of houses and has its private wooden walkway, elevated above the dune vegetation, leading from the private swimming pool directly onto the beach. There is a private freshwater shower to rinse yourself off after a day on the beach. Free Starlink WIFI, no DSTV however, Netflix is available.

The house consists of 5 en-suite bedrooms, and a separate open-plan dining, kitchen, and living area overlooking the rim flow swimming pool and ocean. The architectural layout is in such a way that the bedrooms are privately situated from one other.

Each bedroom is comfortably furnished and has air-conditioning and ceiling fans. Bath towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels along. This house can comfortably accommodate 18 people.

Bedroom 5 - 5 single beds of which 4 can be converted to king-size beds and 1 single has a pull-out single bed.
There is a guest bathroom just off the living area that has a toilet, hand basin, and shower.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes includes 1 stand-up fridge/freezer and a 1 french door fridge/freezer, providing ample space for fresh produce. There is a 5 plate gas stove and electric oven, 4 slice toaster as well as a microwave. Tupperware, baking utensils, ample pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, and a 4-cup coffee plunger. The kitchen is equipped with enough items for 18 people.

Enjoy reading your book in under the private furnished gazebo or on a sun lounger at the pool.

There is a built-in braai with a stainless steel grid for your enjoyment, please bring charcoal and firelighters.

For those of you who need to work remotely, the house offers free Wi-Fi. Please just take note that the Wi-Fi can be unstable at times due to the remote nature of the house.

ACTIVITIES IN THE AREA
Frederico's snorkeling spot is a 10-minute stroll down the beach. Ensure you take snorkeling gear along!

There is a Dive Centre at the Malongane Campsite, which is a 15-minute drive from the house. You can hire dive gear from the center.

Deep-sea fishing charters, as well as Swimming with Dolphins, take place from certain activity centers in Ponta do Ouro.

Turtles lay their eggs between Nov and February which you can witness if you take a stroll on the beach in the evenings after dark. The hatchlings make their way to the ocean from Jan to March. Humpback and Southern Right Whale sightings are prolific from July to Nov. Pods of dolphins can be seen all year round. Lastly, Elephant Game Park is 20 km northwest of the beach house.

If you feel like dining out there are a few restaurants a 15-minute drive from the house in Ponta Malongane that have a local Portuguese flavor, are fairly rustic, and have beautiful views over Sugi Lake. Ponta Do Ouro has a bank, bottle store, pharmacy, surf shops, fishing tackle shop, deli, hardware store, petrol station, internet cafe, supermarket, (limited) craft and curio market, and a colorful food market where you can buy fruit and locally grown vegetables, alcohol, cigarettes, airtime, prawns, cashews, bread and the like. Quad bikes, surfboards, and kite surfing equipment can be hired, and lessons are available in Ponta Do Ouro.

For ice, you can buy bags of ice in Ponta Malongane or on Zitundu road (the WhitePearl road) at R30 a bag, stock up with bags of ice on your drive to the house.
