About Aloe Inn Guest House

We are a luxury 4 Star, AA Highly Recommended B&B based in Port Edward, situated in front of the lighthouse in Port Edward - a mere 50 m from the sea. All six the rooms have fans, en-suite and have fridges. Three rooms have balconies and fabulous sea views. We are a bed & breakfast and also offer the whole establishment on a self catering basis for weekends. During the Christmas / New Year this can be booked for a maximum of 14 people, for a minimum of 7 nights. There is a splash pool on the patio. Watch the whales and dolphins from our lovely decks, or you can enjoy visiting

Beach: Aloe Inn Guest house is situated 50Meters of the beach

Spa: We have an inhouse Hairstylist available

Golf: We are ideally situated to play at Port Edward, Wild Coast Sun, Southbroom & San Lameer golf courses.

Conference Venues: We have indoor conference facilites for up to 40 delegates with in house catering available

Family friendly: Aloe Inn Guest is a family owned business and cater for families with 2 family rooms for accomodation.

Romantic: We have a 2 sleeper delux room to cater for newly weds and romantic getaways

DEPOSIT REQUIREMENT
A 50%(fifty percent) deposit is required to secure the booking.
The balance is payable on arrival.

CANCELLATION POLICY
On day of arrival or during the stay (ie.no show) - the full payment due for the entire booking will be required.
1-14 days prior to arrival - the full deposit paid will be retained.
15-28 days prior to arrival - 75%(seventy five percent) of deposit, or 25%(twenty five percent) of full value will be retained, whichever is the greater.
28 days or more before arrival - 50%(fifty percent) of deposit, or 25%(twenty five percent) of full value will be retained, whichever is the greater.
A non-refundable deposit is required for in-season bookings, i.e. bookings made for 16 December to 10 January of any given year and 14 days during the Easter holidays. This also includes all Public Holiday dates.

The owners were very friendly and the beach location was lovely. The room was clean and comfortable. We do feel that the star rating of 4 was misleading as the facilities did not meet our expectations. The "splash pool" was a covered jacuzi and the facilities seemed run down. As their moto states, come as a visitor leave as family,  absolutely true. Ian and Es treated us as family and made their home ours.What a wonderful couple, it's getaways like these that make you want to explore our own country

I was slightly disappointed with my stay here, I only see my family twice a year and like to have a great time when I am home.I booked 3 rooms, 1 non sea facing and 2 sea facing.The non sea facing was tiny and crammed up.Only one sea facing room had really amazing sea views. We immediately booked a second night before we even saw the room: Ian and Es are fantastic hosts, the rooms are comfortable and clean.The view is great and they booked tables at local restaurants before we could ask. We'll definitely stay here when we return to Port Edward.
