There is a lapa function room and the bathroom facilities for the tents are shared. Units have linen, towels and tea and coffee facilities. All accommodation is serviced on a daily basis.

Alkmaar Farmstay is a birdwatcher's paradise, with nesting white-fronted bee-eaters, resident paradise flycatchers and long crested eagles being seen regularly. Hiking, bass fishing, kayaking and a scenic 4x4 route are available. It is also the ideal stopover en route to Mozambique.
