About Albatross Guesthouse

Albatross Guesthouse is situated in the coastal village of Southbroom on the South Coast of the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa. The Albatross is overlooking the warm Indian Ocean and is settled within lush and subtropical gardens ensuring an amazing & tranquil stay.

This Guesthouse consists of six Junior Suites and four self-catering Junior Apartments. Each Junior Suite is 55m2 in size and offers a separate lounge, store room with a safe, as well as two bathrooms. The self-catering Junior Apartments are 75m2 in size and offer a fully equipped kitchenette, dining room, TV lounge with an additional sleeper sofa as well as two bathrooms and a patio with a braai and stunning garden and sea views. There are also bar facilities, a TV lounge, a restaurant, a little gym, and a spacious swimming pool on site.

Attractions include outstanding golf courses, beautiful and vast beaches and lots to do for everyone loving the outside activities and nature.

Beach: Umkobi Beach is merely 300m away, main Beach with life guards and Granny's Pool about 3kms. Our beaches are wide, vast, clean and easy to excess. Most of them are blue flagged beaches and the Indian Ocean is warm all year round.

Golf: We have a number of well known golf courses close by like Southbroom Golf Course, San Lameer Golf Course and the Wild Coast Golf Course to name a few. Our Junior Suites have extra space to store luggage and golf bags.

Wedding Venues: We can cater for up to 50 guests (within the Covid-19 regulations) and have a beautiful veranda overlooking the Indian Ocean where the reception can be held. Our Restaurant & Bar as well as the kitchen are fully equipped and licensed.

Covid Safety Approved: We are fully Covid-19 compliant and have all safety measures in place at all times to keep our guests and staff safe.
