The Cottages are fully equipped and are within walking distance of the shops and restaurants, and you can experience the unique adventure of eating inside a working lighthouse in Cape Agulhas.The famous red and white Cape Agulhas Lighthouse was built in 1840 and was the third to be built on the South African coast, a design based on one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The lighthouse is today a National Monument with its own museum. Only a two-hour drive out of Cape Town, the beautiful and rugged landscape of the tip of Africa has been proclaimed a national park and is home to a diverse range of marine life as well as a breeding ground for the endangered African black oystercatcher.
