Doringbos Cottage - Sleeps 2

Doringbos Cottage is in the quietest corner of Prince Albert with a one bedroom, lounge and fully equipped self-catering open plan kitchen sleeping a total of two guests.

The guest house is a just a 5-minute drive away from the centre of town. Guests can choose to eat at the African Relish Chef’s Café or buy provisions at our deli.

The large one-bedroom self-catering cottage has air-conditioning, en suite bathroom, panel heaters in the lounge and bedroom areas, and a fan with the choice of a king-size bed or twin beds.

The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen and a large family room with an open fireplace. It also has a covered balcony/patio with outdoor braai/barbeque facilities and a view of our large private succulent garden to relax in. All linen and towels are provided, with tea and coffee facilities and homemade rusks included. Off-street parking and Wi-Fi are available for your convenience. The swimming pool is at the cooking school and can be used by the cottage guests.

Location:
Cottage is situated in Fairbairn Street and not on the same premises as the Cooking School, Chef's Cafe & Deli.

Wedding Venues: African Relish offers space for a very special wedding where food is the highlight of the function. Our cooking school staff and chef will plan a special menu for your special day.

Conference Venues: We can accommodate 30 pax for a conference facility plus cater for all meals and accommodation.

Family friendly: We do cater for babies and children as well as pets by special arrangement.

Romantic: Come and enjoy a romantic cooking class for 2 and our honeymoon suite for that special romantic getaway.

Covid Safety Approved: We pledge to implement a high standard of hygiene and cleaning protocols to ensure the safest environment possible for our guests. We adhere to the industry safety protocols set out by the Tourism Business Council of South Africa (TBCSA).

★★★★★ This cottage is very pleasant and clean. But for the price they do not include breakfast which is a problem for over nighters. There was a selection of tea and coffee, but for some reason, not ceylon tea. There is no hot water in the bathroom, clearly a problem with the plumbing.
