About Acara

Situated in the Winelands between Stellenbosch and Somerset West, Acara is nestled in a valley called "Happy Vale" amidst scenic vineyards with beautiful views of the Helderberg Mountains. There are 4 exclusive cottages - Acara can sleep up to 12 people. Peaceful and quiet, all rooms have heating/cooling, high speed, wireless internet and ipod facilities. Beach: We are only 7 minutes drive away from the beautiful Strand beach.

Golf: We are situated in the middle of MANY of the best courses the Cape has to offer! Superb location!

Family friendly: If you are travelling with children, I’d like to say that we do have an un-netted pool, and 2 (very small!) streams on the property – important to bear in mind with very young children. We also have animals... :-)

Romantic: Romantic willow trees and beautifully landscaped gardens. Gravel pathways to meander though, and benches and private area's to sit and sip a glass of wine or two.

Covid Safety Approved: All the rooms are fully self equipped with their own space/entrances and no shared areas, and naturally completely sanitised before your arrival. Check-in is quick and easy (and socially distant) Relax in spacious, natural, surroundings.
