278 On Main offers luxury accommodation in the heart of the beautiful Free State village of Clarens. Accommodation is offered in four double bedrooms, all en-suite with a bath and shower, and one two-bedroom unit which can be self-catering or B&B.

All linen is 100% cotton percale, beds have electric blankets, and there are heaters in all the rooms. Other facilities include tea and coffee trays and TVs. Breakfast is available in our on-site restaurant "278", served from 7.30 am to 10 am.

★★★★★ Our whole experience was amazing! Comfortable bed, electric blanket was a plus :) the room was huge, and had all the extras we needed (hairdryer, shampoo, tea, coffee, milk). The staff are welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this cosy place. Perfect location too.

★★★★★ A very very big thanks to our host Sue. We were received with so much of warmed and love. We were a family of 8 adults and three children and all our rooms were next to one another. We also had the privacy of the courtyard with a webber braai and enjoyed our long hours of chats and the children were free to play outside. The breakfast was really good.
