About Die Rooi Granaat
Owned and run by Evert Smit and Marais Ziervogel, this South African-style restaurant is loved and favoured by locals and visitors to Yzerfontein alike. The selective menu is written on a blackboard daily and Chef Evert prepares each chosen meal deliciously. Marais embodies true South African hospitality and guests end their dining experience with a friendly chat with the onwers.
Die Rooi Granaat is open for dinner from 7 pm. The restaurant is closed on Sundays.

The salad is out of this world! Very selected menu every time we dined there. The food is well prepared and so yummie while the atmosphere enhances the experience. Book early to get a table. Enjoy a glass of wine with the chef!
