About Stone Circle Country Kitchen
Stone Circle Country Kitchen is located in the small town of Waterval Boven, well known for its scenic beauty, ancient ruins and world-class rock climbing.
The restaurant is situated on the banks of the Elands river, which dramatically drops down the escarpment into the Elands river valley, looking on to the endless hills and mountains that surround the area.
Only fresh, locally sourced, organic ingredients are used as far as is possible. Meals are healthy, nutritious, well balanced and delicious.
The evening restaurant does not operate on an al la carte menu format, but rather as a set menu, by booking only. This allows for good, home-cooked food to be lovingly prepared with only the best ingredients.
Fresh breads are available for order, as well as a selection of preserves and jams made on site with ingredients from the extensive vegetable gardens.
The property also serves as a host to The Stone circle Museum, Michael Tellingers personal collection of artifacts, The Riverside bar and deck and Stone Circle Backpackers Lodge.
