About Pretoria Country Club
Opened in 1908 by Jan Smuts, the magnificent fairways and greens form a lush backdrop to the classical Edwardian styled architecture of the Pretoria Country Club. On its walls are the names of past members of the club which read like a who's who of Southern Africa. Despite its age the club is in pristine condition and more popular now than ever. It is home to several popular restaurants and many of Pretoria's more important functions and weddings are held in its rooms.
