About Jan Botha Museum
The Jan Botha Museum is a private museum At Vaalwater Rivier Oord, but open to the public for free. We have a collection of 54 Vintage tractors, Cars and inside the museum everything possible older than 20 Years, we have 14 rooms and different smaller collections, military, telephones, stamps, Boer War, Sewing Machines, Milk & cheese making apparatus, irons and washing machines, A library, music instruments, Scales (possible the biggest collection) Shed tools, traps, name it we have it. Our vision is to teach children to love museum and be interested in our past. This is a hands on place and kids are allowed to fiddle, try and wonder. No hands behind the back here.
