An American-Mexican restaurant in Upington - ribs, tacos, burgers and so much more. Listen to country music and rock 'n roll on the speakers in this casual atmosphere.
Owners SJ and Virginia Botha moved to Upington in 2011 with the dream of opening a funky, casual restaurant. They wanted to incorporate all the things they've experienced and come to love. In May 2012 they opened the doors of that dream, Bubbas.
Part southern redneck, part boertjie, and part Mexican - just for the fun of it.
Harley Davidson motorcycles and cowboy boots. A place where kids are welcome and adults have a blast.
We smoke our own ribs, chicken and pork shoulder in house - it takes a bit longer, but you'll be happy we do. Our diverse menu and casual atmosphere include a bit of all the places we've travelled and food we've enjoyed over the years. So don't worry about what to call it. All you need to know is that at Bubbas you can always come as you are.
