About City Palace of Udaipur

The City Palace Complex overlooking Lake Pichola in Udaipur is a spectacular synthesis of the Rajasthani and Mughal architectural styles. Once the seat of the Maharajah of Jaipur, the complex dates back to 1559 and was developed extensively for almost 400 years. The City Palace Museum is open daily from 9.30am to 5.30pm.
