About Zibaldone
Formerly the owners of Perusia, which had a long running success in the Northern suburbs, Adriano and Roberto Pietrella have taken their extensive food and service knowledge and combined it with their rich and colourful Italian roots to create the ultimate dining experience.
Situated in the trendy up-and-coming Tyger Waterfont, Zibaldone offers a menu which strikes the perfect balance between traditional, wholesome and often rustic Italian fare with a contemporary yet approachable slant.
The owners express typical family dedication by being in tune with what their loyal patrons have come to expect over the years - delicious and uncomplicated food set against a soothing yet sophisticated atmosphere. The menu lends itself to pastas, fish, veal, steaks, poultry and seasonal specials, not to mention the delectable, visually pleasing desserts. Old favourites include the Veal Saltimbocca, Ossobuco and Spaghetti Gamberi as well as new gems which are fast becoming staples such as the Tagliata and the hearty Lamb Shank Tortelloni and many more you would be enticed to discover.
