The elegant 16th century wooden palace of Padmanabhapuram is a wonderful example of Kerala's traditional architectural style. Flanking the airy verandas are hundreds of carved wooden pillars and the interior is filled with interesting antiques, elaborate rosewood carvings and murals.
Open daily 9am to 5pm, except Mondays.
