About Vaalvlei Fly Fishing

Come and enjoy some beautiful fly fishing in a lovely farm and country-side setting.

Located close to the little town of Standford, Vaalvlei offers fly fisherman two spring-fed dams fully stocked with rainbow and brown trout, bass and tilapia. Floaters and waders are welcome. Rates are R100 per person, catch and release. If you want to keep your fish, you'll have to pay per kilo.
