About Old Bridge Tavern
This family run restaurant and bar is lively, happening and just downright warm and inviting. Here you can let your hair down, have a 'whatevers', and enjoy delicious, unpretentious food.
The heart of the restaurant is the beer garden where you can relax under the trees and enjoy your drinks and meals. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and 'in-between anytime' snacks are served. Start with a hearty breakfast like a filled-to-the-brim omelette or any one of the variations on the traditional English breakfast on the menu.
Starters include cheesy garlic breads, chicken livers sauteed in a peri peri sauce and served on toast, snails, mussels, crumbed mushrooms and delicious, smothered nachos.
A separate pizza menu is available, but the house specialities are recommended. Pickled eisbein, juicy pork loin ribs, a steak and Guinness pie, and even a vegetarian pie form part of the main menu. For the ravenous there is a 400g T-bone steak served with a sauce of your choice, veggies and starch.
Old Bridge Tavern regularly hosts live music acts, comedy acts and sporting events on the big-screen TV, so it pays to enquire.
