About Helderberg Restaurant
This restaurant is located at the foot of the beautiful, imposing Helderberg Mountain and offers breathtaking views and a stunning, relaxing environment.
Diners can enjoy their meals outside while looking out over the vineyards. The interior smacks of ye olde English country-style and rich colours and wooden furniture add to the ambience. The cosy fireplace completes the picture.
The owners do the cooking themselves and effort and love for what they do definitely spills over into the dishes. Traditional dishes like Bobotie is a must-try and this old South African favourite hardly ever fails to impress even the most discerning palate.
During the week the restaurant offers wine tasting from 9 am until 5 pm and an impressive range of wines are available.
Bring friends to share a platter of gammon, pate, cheese and salads, and of course, a crisp glass of wine.
