Located in the Trading Post Complex on Myburgh Street in Somerset West you will find Chez Max. This restaurant offers continental food in a warm and traditional atmosphere.
The food is unpretentious but amazingly well-prepared and tasty. Starters include dishes like a trio of prawns, homemade chicken liver and bacon pate, soup of the day and risotto.
Be sure to give the slow-roasted belly of pork a try. This dish is served with crispy crackling, Hanepoot glazed apples and aromatic. Another mouthwatering main is the char-grilled beef fillet, moist and tender, with a blue cheese potato cake, caramelised baby onions and rosemary.
