An hour's drive north-east from Cape Town, through rolling farmlands, takes you to the welcoming gates of Kloovenburg. The estate is situated in the Riebeek Valley, part of the Swartland, an area which offers the visitor the attractions of hiking, day drives, birding and of course some of the country's most picturesque scenery.

Directions to Kloovenburg
Leaving Cape Town via the N1, turn onto the N7, heading for Malmesbury, centre of the wheatlands. Take the first turn-off into the town and drive into the centre past the Bokomo flour mills and on to a set of traffic lights where a signpost will point you to Riebeek Kasteel. Follow the R45 and take the turnoff on to the R46 to Riebeek Kasteel. This road rises up the Boesmanskloof Pass, at the top of which you will look down to the vineyards, olive groves and sweeping whitewashed Cape-style entrance to Kloovenburg.Reviews for Kloovenburg
