About Margate Butterfly Valley
Margate Butterfly Valley is a butterfly breeding farm specializing in indigenous species. The butterflies on show are mostly bred at the farm and the guided tour is therefore able to cover every aspect of the rearing process. Besides the butterflies, there is also a section called 'Curious Creatures', which houses some interesting insects and spiders. In addition there is a gift shop and tea garden.
No booking is required.
Hours:
Open daily from 9am to 4pm
Sundays from 10am to 2pm
Closed on Mondays except during holiday season
