About Pomene Nature Reserve
Pomene Nature Reserve is a tiny marine reserve incorporating a narrow sandy peninsula, beautiful lagoon and mangrove estuary. The remote location and small local population has kept Pomene Bay’s environment pristine.
Here the resorts and locals are working together on environmental initiatives. When visiting Pomene, please support the local community in this endeavour. If you come here to fish, please take only what is needed for the pot and leave nothing but footprints.
