One of the pleasures of going to Ocean Basket was the soft fresh rolls served with the meal. However, we were horrified to be given pieces of supermarket hot dog rolls! This tainted the whole meal. If cutting back on costs, rather don't serve anything at all! The food was fine. I do wonder if Ocean Basket dare do this to their JHB or Cape Town customers? I am going back this evening because the fresh oysters are the best in Pietermaritzburg - hope I am not disappointed and I wonder if we will be served the hot dog rolls again.
