About O's Restaurant

This classy act on the banks of the Vaal River is one of Parys' best-kept secrets, where owners Tommy and Willie will transform your visit into an experience! Friendly and professional service and excellent food from the a la carte-style menu will have you going back.

Exceptional steaks and a rare variety of mutton dishes are among the extraordinary dishes that could be expected from their passionate chef. Over the past six years this has become one of Parys’ main attractions and the most popular restaurant destination in town.

We also boast a cocktail deck bar on the river, exclusively for over 21s. Our stylish reception hall can accommodate up to 150 guests for a most memorable wedding or function, with an on-site chapel.

Come and experience a wave of tranquillity.

We are open from Wednesday to Saturday, from 11 am to 10 pm. On Sunday we are open from 11 am to 3 pm.

Directions to O's Restaurant

Head north on the N1 from Bloemfontein. Take the exit towards the R720. Turn left onto the R720 and travel for 21.4 km. Turn right onto the R721. Continue onto Plein Street. Continue straight onto the R59 for 13.2 km. Turn left onto Middel Street. Turn right onto Boom Street. Take the first left onto De Villiers Street. Your destination will be on the right-hand side, number 1.

Had Sunday lunch Feb 2015. Since last visit standards have declined drastically. All three dishes ordered were disgraceful and one was basically inedible. Even a warm beer glass was offered. Total rip off as prices do not reflect what is offered. Many better restaurants in Parys. Huge disappointment as setting is beautiful.
